What you get
A far-infrared blanket from a UK fitness brand, with heat you can set anywhere from 25°C to 80°C. That makes it easy to start gently and build up. FLOE says it has zero EMF shielding and built-in overheat protection.
It takes under a minute to set up and fits 1 person, lying down. Wide 25–80°C range, and zero EMF shielding. On the downside: pricier than ThermoLab or StylPro.
The heat
You lie inside and zip it up. Infrared panels in the blanket warm you directly, and the temperature setting is for the blanket itself, so it feels gentler than sitting in a hot tent. Most people use one for 30 to 45 minutes, with a towel or cotton liner inside.
Running costs
FLOE does not publish the power use for the FLOE blanket. Most portable saunas use between 350 W and 1,500 W, which works out at roughly 5p to 20p for a 30-minute session at today’s prices. Check the label on the heater and use our running-cost calculator.
