How we choose

We compare every portable sauna on the same five things, so you can see at a glance which one suits your home and budget.

  1. 01

We find what UK buyers can get

We track the portable saunas sold by UK brands, UK stockists and Amazon UK, from budget steam tents to premium blankets.

  2. 02

    We check the details

Heat, power, size, what is in the box, warranty, returns and delivery, taken from the brand and checked against the product page.

  3. 03

    We read what owners say

We read owner reviews on brand sites and Amazon UK to see how each sauna holds up in real homes, and where it falls short.

  4. 04

    We rate it

Five criteria, weighted as below, give a rating out of 10. Ratings are rechecked when a product changes or a new rival arrives.

  5. 05

    We keep it current

Prices and offers are checked by hand and the date is shown on every page.

How we make money

Affiliate links. When you buy through a “Check price” button, the retailer may pay us. You pay the same price. Retailers never see our reviews first and cannot pay to change a rating or a ranking.

Retail partners. We have commercial partnerships with some brands and UK stockists we link to. Every retailer is listed in price order, and no partner can pay for a higher rating or ranking.

Discount codes and sponsorship. Some brands give us reader codes or sponsor our newsletter. Sponsored content is labelled “Ad”. Ratings and rankings are never for sale.
